Job Description
Grouting and sealing work to clarifier throughs by grouting and sealing at the open end and sealing at the closed end
Method Statement (Open end)
1.1. Clean surface of substrate to be grout.
2. 2.Install back up rod into cavities between channel and structural concrete on both side of the cavities.
3.3. Apply PU Sealant into cavities on both side of the cavities.
4.4. After PU Sealant completely cured. Pre-soak the substrate with water, but no standing water.
5.5. Pour Non-Shrink Grout at the top of the channel until cavities fill with Non-Shrink Grout.
Method Statement (Closed end)
1.1. Clean surface of substrate at joint between channel and structural concrete to be seal with sealant.
2.2. Install back up rod into cavities between channel and structural concrete.
3.3. Apply PU Sealant into joint of cavities between channel and structural concrete.
